| Description | Lease contract books: these volumes contain agreements signed by people intending to take leases on St Bartholomew's Hospital property between 1749 and 1823, and between 1828 and 1841.
The volumes also contain signed contracts relating to the supply of provisions, 1749-1755.
Volume 1 is chiefly comprised of printed forms which have been completed in manuscript with the details of the proposed lease. Volumes 2-7 are wholly in manuscript.Seven volumes, with the names of tenants indexed at the front of each volume.
