The plan shows various gardens and burial grounds, the Little Britain Gate, the chapel of St Nicholas, the lane (Long Walk) from St Bartholomew's to the Greyfriars Gate of Christ's Hospital, the Town Ditch and Rosemary Lane. The plan refers to Sir Thomas Bodley as a tenant of a property within the precinct; the plan must thus be dated between Bodley's knighthood in 1604 and his death in 1612. |
