DescriptionThe 'Repertory', a cartulary of St Bartholomew's Hospital, contains copies of deeds, mainly of London properties, 1498-1693 (with a few copies of earlier deeds from 1364), and memoranda concerning wills and bequests, 1642-1695.

Compilation began c1553 and continued in various hands to 1695. In nineteenth century vellum binding.

front: index and copy of a reply of Parliamentary Commissioners concerning St Bartholomew's Hospital, 1546
ff1-27: copies of charters of Henry VIII, 1546 and 1546/7 (SBHB/HC/1/2001-2002)
ff29-46: copies of deeds concerning Golden Lane in St Giles Cripplegate, 1364-1552
ff48-106: copies of deeds, 1498-1588, mostly London but including a few for Westminster and Stepney
ff106-216: copies of deeds and memoranda, 1590-1695.
Most of the deeds concern London but they include a few for Holbeam in Stalisfield, Kent (1617-1622), St Albans (1619), Southwark (1647), Stepney (1664-1691) and Maryland Hall, Essex (1693).
